Whole oat flour (non-GMO & gluten-free), apples (organic), unsalted roasted peanuts, cinnamon (organic), and ascorbic acid (vitamin C used as a preservative).
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or non-stick liner. In a medium bowl, combine dry mix with 1/2 cup water. Mix thoroughly and let rest for 5 minutes. Knead dough a few times and place on parchment paper. Roll out to 1/4″ thickness. Cut desired shapes and place on cookie sheet. Place in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until edges are golden brown and somewhat hard. They’re ready for your couch wolf as soon as they are cooled.
NOTE: You don’t have to use a cookie cutter with this dough. You can roll it into balls and flatten using your palm or a fork. Get the kiddos and have some creative fun!
These treats will last 6-8 weeks if kept in an air tight container and dry. Refrigerate for optimum shelf life or freeze.
