What’s Inside

Baking for your pets should be fun and easy, and without worrying about what ingredients you shouldn’t use. Nor should you be an experienced baker or labor for hours in the kitchen to create delicious and fun treats for your furbabies.

Divided into two sections, Woof (for dogs) and Purr (for cats), you’ll find a wide variety of easy-to-prepare goodies, from everyday treats to special occasion cakes.

What Makes This Recipe Book Unique

Woof & Purr is the first dog and cat treat cookbook designed for smartphones, tablets, and e-readers.

While we all love those gorgeously photographed cookbooks, how many of us actually use them? And if you downloaded the ebook version of that gorgeously-photographed cookbook, it wasn’t very smartphone or tablet-friendly, was it?

This is where Woof & Purr is different.

  • The layout has been designed to be viewed on your digital device.
  • Recipes have clickable footnotes of extra information.
  • Substitution options are noted whenever a recipe can be made vegan or grain-free.
  • A section is dedicated to coloring your treats using natural ingredients.
  • Included are details on toxic foods, what foods are considered ‘superfoods’ and their benefits, and why shopping for organic is so important.
  • I’ll share my baking tips & tricks so you can learn from my mistakes, and much more.

This will be an actual ebook for your Kindle, iPad, Galaxy tablet, etc., not just a PDF file!

Funding In Progress

I'm currently running a GoFundMe campaign to help with the costs of bringing Woof & Purr to life, such as ingredients, time and effort of recipe testing, content editing fees, cover art and interior art design, and marketing campaigns.

Thank You Gift

Everyone who donates $20 or more will receive a copy of the ebook when it's published. (Please make sure I have your email address.)

Publication Progress

I started on a pet treat cookbook many years ago, and with the closing of my shop, I decided that completing this was more important than ever.

I want to share my trusted and proven recipes with everyone, and with a little help, I can get Woof & Purr published much quicker.

About Me

Hi! I’m Carrie D. Miller, author, baker, and entrepreneur.

In 2017, I launched Broomstick Pet Treats LLC, channeling my love of animals and baking into each handcrafted morsel. My made-to-order dog and cat treats were baked with nothing you wouldn’t eat yourself and free of fillers, unnecessary additives, and artificial anything.

Broomstick’s motto was “If we won’t eat it, can’t pronounce it, or it has more syllables than ermahgerd, we’re not feeding it to your pet.”

After many years in business, I’d amassed a great number of recipes. I’m currently compiling them into Woof & Purr, the only pet treat cookbook you’ll ever need.
